Our Dimension BST system builds functional 3D models from the bottom up, one layer at a time with tough, durable acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic. The process forms three-dimensional plastic models and objects from CAD generated 3D solid or 3D surface models. Models are built quickly, cleanly, and ABS ensures that you will be able to drill. tap, sand, paint and even electro-plate your creation. Typical applications for this technology are: concept models, functional testing, packaging, architectural, engineering and topographical models, advertising prototypes.

Process- You provide us with a STL file of your model and within hours you'll have have a 3d solid plastic model. STL files are imported into our software which automatically slices the parts and creates any necessary support structures. The software automatically plots a precise deposition path for the Dimension BST to follow. ABS plastic is fed into an extrusion head, heated to a semi-liquid state and accurately deposited in 0.25mm layers . After completion of the build, support structures are simply removed. The designed object emerges as a solid three-dimensional part without the need for tooling.
